L’emittente pubblica norvegese NRK ha annunciato il diciasettesimo concorrente ufficiale che parteciparà al Norsk Melodi Grand Prix 2012, Cocktail Slippers.

Cocktail Slippers, sono una rock band femminile è composta da Hope (voce), Rocket Queen (chitarra), Aurora de Morales (basso), Zumba (chittarra), Bella Donna (batteria) and Piper (tastiera). 

Secondo la band sono state ispirati a partecipare al MGP 2012 dai ‘Lucky Bullets’, partecipanti dello scorso anno al MGP e che hanno raggiunto il terzo posto in finale dopo essere rispecati nel second chance.           

Cocktail Slippers parteciperà con il brano «She’s a Rattlesnake» ed è descritto della band come un brano rock con testi di una donna straordinariamente bella e pericolosa: “È una femme fatale, la donna che tiene a tutti gli uomini terrozizzati, ma in fondo vuole essere se stessa”.
