Come già avviene dall’edizione 2023, lo slogan è ‘United by Music’.

Lyrics “Bangaranga”:
Come alive
Surrender to the blinding lights
No one’s gonna sleep tonight
Welcome to the riot
Come alive
Surrender to the blinding lights
No one’s gonna sleep tonight
Welcome to the riot
(I’m the bangaran) Bangaranga, bangaranga, bangaranga

Welcome to the riot
I’m the bangaran

I’m an angel, I’m a demon, I’m a psycho for no reason
I’m a mover, I’m a teaser, I don’t follow, I’m the leader
Let me hype you, hype you up, let me hype you up, I’ma, I’ma
Let you get so hooked, I’ma leave you shook
Come alive

No one’s gonna sleep tonight
Welcome to the riot

Lyrics “Just Go”:
I carried your love inside my heart each day
You said our fire would never fade away
Your name was my dream at night
Your name when I saw the light
Oh, I was yours all the way
But now I see through your disguise
The truth is burning in my eyes
Go, I don’t love you anymore
Go, without you I’ll shine
You know
I’ll erase you from my soul
Go, I don’t wanna see your face
Go, no more tears will ever flow
I’m begging you – just go
You said we’d be forever, side by side
You said our love would never die
But you fooled me once again
You played your little game
You burned the faith I had inside
Now every word feels like a lie
I’m done, I’m saying goodbye
Go, I don’t love you anymore
Go, without you I’ll shine
You know
I’ll erase you from my soul
Go, I don’t wanna see your face
Go, no more tears will ever flow
I’m begging you – juѕt go
Məni tərk et, yoruldum yalandan
Məni tərk et, bezmişəm bu oyundan
Məni tərk et, qurtulum bu alovdan
Məni tərk et, çıx mənim dünyamdаn
Go, go
I carried your love inside my heart each day
You said our fire would never fade away
Your name was my dream at night
Your name when I saw the light
Oh, I was yours all the way
But now I see through your disguise
The truth is burning in my eyes
Go, I don’t love you anymore
Go, without you I’ll shine

I’ll erase you from my soul
Go, I don’t wanna see your face

You played your little game
You burned the faith I had inside
Now every word feels like a lie
I’m done, I’m saying goodbye
Go, I don’t love you anymore
Go, without you I’ll shine
You know
I’ll erase you from my soul
Go, I don’t wanna see your face
Go, no more tears will ever flow
I’m begging you – just go
Leave me, I’m tired of the lies
Leave me, I’m fed up with this game
Leave me, I want to escape from thiѕ fire
Leаve me, get out of my world
Go, go

Hər gün ürəyimdə daşıdım sənin sevgini
Deyirdim ki, alovumuz heç vaxt sönməyəcək
Adın gecələr yuxularımda idi
Adın işığı görəndə dilimdə idi, oh
Mən tamamilə sənə məxsus idim
Amma indi maskanın arxasını görürəm
Həqiqət gözlərimdə iki yerə bölündü
Get, artıq səni sevmirəm
Get, sənsiz də parlayacağam
Bilirsən
Səni ruhumdan siləcəyəm
Get, üzünü görmək istəmirəm
Get, artıq göz yaşlarım axmayacaq
Səndən yalvarıram, sadəcə get
Deyirdin ki, həmişə yan-yana olacağıq
Deyirdin ki, sevgimiz heç vaxt ölməyəcək
Amma yenə məni aldatdın
Kiçik oyununu oynadın
İçimdəki inamı yandırdın
İndi hər sözün yalan kimi səslənir
Bitdi, mən vidalaşıram
Get, artıq səni sevmirəm
Get, sənsiz də parlayacağam
Bilirsən
Səni ruhumdan siləcəyəm
Get, üzünü görmək istəmirəm
Get, artıq göz yaşlarım axmayacaq
Səndən yalvarıram, ѕadəcə get
Məni tərk et Yoruldum yalanından
Məni tərk et Bezmişəm bu oyundan
Məni tərk et Qurtulurum bu alovdan
Məni tərk et Çıx Mənim dünyamdаn
Get, get

“Choke Me” is a song by Romanian singer Alexandra Căpitănescu. The song is set to represent Romania in the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 after winning the national final Selecția națională 2026.
Eurovision Song Contest. On 13 February, Căpitănescu was announced to be taking part in the Romanian national final Selecția națională with “Choke Me”. The song was released on the same day. On 2 March, the running order was made public, announcing that Căpitănescu would be performing eleventh out of twelve performers. After Selecția națională occurred on 4 March, it was revealed that Căpitănescu won the contest.
The Eurovision Song Contest 2026 will take place at Wiener Stadthalle in Vienna, Austria, and will consist of two semi-finals to be held on the respective dates of 12 and 14 May and the final on 16 May 2026. During the allocation draw held on 12 January 2026, Romania was drawn to compete in the second semi-final, competing in the first half of the show.
Controversy. The song drew controversy for its title and subject matter, with the phrase “choke me,” repeated thirty times in the song, being criticized for glamorising strangulation and sexual violence.[7] Campaigners against sexual violence have described the song as “reckless,” drawing specific focus on the lyrics “I want you to choke me” and “make my lungs explode”. Claire McGlynn, a professor at Durham University, claimed that the song was “playing fast and loose with young women’s lives”; Căpitănescu defended her song by arguing that the song’s message was metaphorical and representative being overwhelmed by emotion and self-doubt.
On 18 March, TVR released a statement further defending Căpitănescu and the song, stating that the song’s stage concept was intended to “highlight the metaphorical nature” and “exclude any literal interpretation of the lyrics.”
Lyrics “Choke Me”:
Phantom
You feel like a phantom
Why do you wanna tame me?
It’s hard to breathe in
Do you feel me?
Do what I say
And don’t you ever betray me
You are here to obey me
Are you not?
All I need is your love
I want it to choke me, choke me, choke me
Born for you to control
I want you to choke me
Ch-ch-ch-choke me
Ch-ch-ch-choke me
Love me, make my lungs explode like oh oh oh…
All I need is your love
I want it to choke me
Ch-ch-ch-choke me
Ch-ch-ch-choke me
Choke me
Choke me
Choke me
Save me
Inside I’m blazin’
I want you to call me, call me, call me
Call, my body is begging
Do what I say
And don’t you ever betray me
You are here to obey me
Are you not?
All I need is your love
I want it to choke me, choke me, choke me
Born for you to control
I want you to choke me

Ch-ch-ch-choke me

De ce vrei să mă îmblânzești?
E greu să respir

Și să nu mă trădezi vreodată

Nu-i așa?

“Mother Nature” is a song by Luxembourgish singer-songwriter and violinist Eva Marija. It will represent Luxembourg at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 after winning Luxembourg’s Eurovision national final, Luxembourg Song Contest 2026.
Eurovision Song Contest.
Luxembourg Song Contest 2026. On 30 October 2025, Eva Marija was announced as one of the 8 participants for Luxembourg Song Contest 2026. Her competing entry “Mother Nature” would later be released on 12 December 2025. The contest took place on 14 January 2026, where Marija was announced as one of the three finalists to the Super Final. After the voting segment took place, Marija ended up 1st in both the Jury vote and Public vote leading to her win and earning her the right to represent Luxembourg in the Eurovision Song Contest 2026.
At Eurovision. The Eurovision Song Contest 2026 will take place at Wiener Stadthalle in Vienna, Austria, and will consist of two semi-finals to be held on the respective dates of 12 and 14 May and the final on 16 May 2026. During the allocation draw held on 12 January 2026, Luxembourg was drawn to compete in the first half of the second semi-final on 14 May 2026.
Controversy. “Mother Nature” has drawn controversy as some people have pointed out similarities between it and “Keeping Your Head Up” by Birdy, with RTL consulting with partners about the issue. Jeff Spielmann, the Media Manager for Luxembourg in Eurovision told the newspaper: “It’s a fact that the song ‘Mother Nature’ was written last year by the composers together with the artist during the songwriting camp at the Rockhal, and that Birdy’s song in no way served as a template.” On 11 February 2026 the song was cleared for Eurovision participation. In a statement to L’Essentiel, Spielmann said: “Preparations for the contest in Austria are continuing as normal. We arrived at the conclusion that no other measures are needed at the moment. The current version will not change much. Therefore, there won’t be a new song.”

Lyrics “Mother Nature”:
From the start
When all was fun and games
Wasn’t hard
But all good things can end
Back when I was younger
I planted a seed under the moonlight
And even when there’s thunder
I go back when I wonder, who am I?
From the ground to my skin
As I’m howling at the wind
Dig my roots in the mud
And I lean my head back
Let it out, let it in
Letting go of all my sins
Dig my roots in the mud
And I lean my head back
Mother Nature, she knows
Mother Nature, she knows
I know that
Mother Nature, she knows
Mother Nature, she knows
Mother Nature, she knows
See the leaves
How they grow back again
And I heal
And learn to love myself again
Even when there’s thunder
Oh I don’t have to wonder, who am I?
From the ground to my skin
As I’m howling at the wind
Dig my roots in the mud
And I lean my head back
Let it out, let it in
Letting go of all my sins
Dig my roots in the mud
And I lean my head back
Mother Nature, she knows
Mother Nature, she knows
I know that
Mother Nature, she knows
Mother Nature, she knows
Oh, oh, oh…
(Mother Nature, she knows)
Mmm…

Lyrics “CROSSROADS”:
Follow a voice unknown
Learn how to swim in open waters on your own
A jar hollow won’t reach the ocean floor
Where foreign fields and tangled strings unfold
Mother I’ll get lost without a map
There’s too many ways
Inside this vicious spider web
Crossroads
Patterns and exceptions interwoven
I’m amazed how well we get unwell
Then trade our pain for a metal frame
Oh, I gotta find what’s out there
Mother, I’ll get lost without a map
There’s too many ways
Inside this vicious spider web
Crossroads
Patterns and exceptions interwoven
We are creatures wired well for this space
We’re the human race
Oh, we try our best
To operate on pure love and rage
Ungrateful child in a golden cage
For Mother Earth
Man cannot change

Následuj neznámý hlas
Nauč se plavat v otevřených vodách sám
Dutá nádoba nedosáhne na dno oceánu
Kde se rozprostírají cizí pole a zamotané provázky
Matko, bez mapy se ztratím
Je tu příliš mnoho cest
Uvnitř této zlé pavučiny
Křižovatky
Vzory a výjimky propletené
Vzory a výjimky propletené
Jsme stvoření dobře přizpůsobená tomuto prostoru
Jsme lidská rasa
Oh, snažíme se ze všech sil
Fungovat na čisté lásce a vzteku
Nevděčné dítě ve zlaté kleci
Pro Matku Zemi
Člověk ѕe nemůže změnit

Lyrics “Paloma rumba”:
(Pa-la-la…)
Same old place, familiar faces
Copy paste my days (put on a smile and go on)
One last round of kissing the ground
And then I’ll be gone for good
Paloma Rumba, let’s go
Delete my number burn the phone
Take my chance to finally dance
Away from all the anger
Too much sweat and tears and regrets
‘Cause I don’t wanna talk about numbers all day long
Paloma Rumba, let’s go
Rock this, rock this
Delete my number burn the phone
Rock this, rock this
I’m not a machine, just stuck on a wage
In a rage, as a cage, with a badge, oh no
Can’t take no more, take no more
I’m done for sure, yeah (put on a smile and go on)
I’m not a robot, just playing the part
And I’m losing my heart, I’m falling apart
So watch me go, steal the show
Like a pro, yeah
This meeting could have been an email
Free coffee won’t keep me here man
Can’t do this anymore, already at the door
Paloma Rumba, let’s go
Rock this, rock this
Delete my number burn the phone
Rock this, rock this
You ole-ole-ole-ole-fa, Paloma Rumba
You ole-ole-ole-ole-fa, Paloma Rumba
(You ole-ole-ole-ole-fa, Paloma Rumba)
(You ole-ole-ole-ole-fa, Paloma Rumba)
Are you ready?

Biography. Born in Thun to an Italian father and a Swiss mother, in 2014, Fusaro took part in the second season of The Voice of Switzerland, broadcast on the German-language channel SRF 1. Her journey continued until the Knockout stage, where she was ultimately eliminated.
In 2016, she was awarded the Demo of the Year award by the Demotape Clinic association, an accolade that caught the attention of national radio station SRF 3, which subsequently named her Best Talent of the month of May 2016. In 2018, she performed at the annual Swiss Music Awards ceremony.
Fusaro rose to prominence in 2019 with the single “Rollercoaster” which, thanks also to the collaboration with the MX3 circuit, was promoted through the main radio stations of the Swiss Confederation. Lyrics “Alice”:
Alice
Your pretty green eyes are magic
My precious prize, I’ve studied your ways
The way you behave
Can I spill my secrets to you?
Alice
Let me inside, I promise
I’ll be polite, no, I won’t make a mess
Why you looking so stressed?
Just let me talk to you
I’ve been watching you
I know you really, really love me, don’t lie
Know you gotta, gotta give it some time
So honey, don’t cry
Honey, don’t cry
Alice
Don’t you be scared, be honest
I live in your head, oh, I’m lonely too
This world’s been so cruel
I’ve been here waiting for you
Alice
Stop knocking on that door, don’t panic
Lay low on the floor, you’re safe in my arms
No, I’d never harm a hair on your head because
I’m in love with you
I know you really, really love me, don’t lie
Only gotta, gotta give it some time
So honey, don’t cry
Honey, don’t cry
‘Cause I know you really, really love me inside
Only gotta, gotta give it some time
So honey, don’t cry
Honey, don’t cry
Alice
The light in my life has vanished
Please open your eyes, why are you turning cold
From feather to ѕtone?
Baby, don’t leave me аlone
¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦
Alice
Tes jolis yeux verts sont magiques
Mon précieux prix, j’ai étudié tes manières
La façon dont tu te comportes
Puis-je te confier mes secrets ?
Alice
Tu n’as qu’à, n’as qu’à prendre ton temps
Tu n’as qu’à, n’as qu’à prendre ton temps
Alors, chérie, ne pleure pas
Chérie, ne pleure pas
Alice
Chérie, ne me laisse pаs ѕeule

Alice
Deine schönen grünen Augen sind Magie
Mein kostbarer Schatz, ich habe deine Methoden studiert
Die Art, wie du dich verhältst
Kann ich dir meine Geheimnisse anvertrauen?
Alice
Also Liebling, weine nicht
Liebling, weine nicht
Alice
Hab keine Angst, sei ehrlich
Also Liebling, weine nicht
Also Liebling, weine nicht
Liebling, weine nicht
Alice
Das Licht in meinem Leben ist verschwunden
Bitte öffne deine Augen, warum wirst du so kalt
Von Feder zu Stein?
Baby, lasѕ mich nicht аllein

Alice
Posso rivelarti i miei segreti?
Alice
Fammi entrare, lo prometto
Sarò gentile, no, non incasinerò
Perché sembri così stressata?
Lascia solo che ti parli
Ti ho guardata
So che davvero, davvero mi ami, non mentire
So che devi, devi dargli del tempo
Quindi tesoro, non piangere
Tesoro, non piangere
Alice
So che davvero, davvero mi ami, non mentire
So che devi, devi dargli del tempo
Quindi tesoro, non piangere
Tesoro, non piangere
Perché so che davvero, davvero mi ami dentro
Solo devi, devi dargli del tempo
Quindi tesoro, non piangere
Tesoro, non piangere
Alice

“Jalla” (Τζ’ Άλλα, More) is a song by English-Cypriot singer-songwriter Antigoni. The song was released on 8 February 2026 through Minos EMI. It was written by Buxton herself, together with Charalambous Kallona, Connor Mullally-Knight, Demetris Nikolaou, Klejdi Lupa, Paris Kalpos, and Trey Qua. It will represent Cyprus in the Eurovision Song Contest 2026.
The song debuted at number 23 on the Greek Local Singles chart.
Background and composition. “Jalla” was written by Antigoni Buxton with Charalambous Kallona, Connor Mullally-Knight, Demetris Nikolaou, Klejdi Lupa, Paris Kalpos, and Trey Qua. Kalpos, Lupa, Mullally-Knight, and Qua also produced the song. The title, “Jalla“, is a word from Cypriot meaning “more”. Nikolaou is credited with proposing the word “Jalla” (J’alla) as the Cypriot dialect term for the song during Antigoni’s suggestion to incorporate the dialect into the lyrics.
Musically, the song was described as “an up-tempo tune that merges traditional sounds with big-scale beats”. It was further described as a “Mediterranean summer-pop anthem” which uses traditional Cypriot instrumentation, including çifteli and lute. Lyrically, according to Buxton, the song is about “energy, passion, and striving for more in life”. She further added that the track was intended to reflect the “Cypriot spirit” while maintaining international appeal.
Release and music video. The song and its music video premiered on the Cypriot broadcaster’s main evening news bulletin on 8 February 2026. Following the initial broadcast, the music video was released on the official YouTube channel of the Eurovision Song Contest.[4] It was disclosed by the CyBC Director General Thanasis Tsokos that the budget for the filming of the official music video, as well as the production expenses and promotional campaign costs, amounted to approximately €100,000, which was covered by Buxton’s music label, Minos EMI.
The music video was directed by Alexis “Bodega” Kostel and its filming took place at multiple Cypriot towns and villages. It was later revealed on the show With Love Christiana by the president of the Community Council of Lythrodontas, where the filming of the music video began, that around 200 to 250 residents were gathered to join the shooting. The outfits featured in the music video were designed by Cypriot designer Gregory Morfi.
Promotion. To promote “Jalla” before the Eurovision Song Contest 2026, Buxton performed as an interval act at Sing for Greece 2026, the Greek national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2026.She also participated at the Nordic Eurovision Party 2026 held at Rockerfeller in Oslo on 21 March 2026.
Reception. The song’s release was met with mixed critical reception. While many positive comments appeared online from the general audience, many were vocal against the song. On 10 February 2026, multiple known persons in the Cypriot cultural and media scene formally expressed their dissatisfaction with the song’s participation in the Eurovision Song Contest 2026.[15] In the letter sent to the president and members of the Cyprus Broadcasting Corporation (CyBC) management committee, they claimed that the song’s music video “did not accurately depict the Cypriot traditions and cultural image of Cyprus” while also claiming that the video clip “includes and legalises very dangerous unlawful road driving practises”, in reference to a scene in the music video where a group of youths are doing wheelies on motorcycles, without wearing helmets.
In response to the letter, CyBC Director General Tsokos released a statement through the CyBC Corporate account on Facebook that same day. In the statement, he mentioned that the music video’s online reception is “warm and positive” and that the “reactions of experts and friends of the Eurovision Song Contest on social media are similarly positive”. He added any scenes that did not follow road safety principles “have been removed from the clip” and its revised version will be “reposted by the European Broadcasting Union”.
Eurovision Song Contest 2026.
Internal selection. Cyprus’ broadcaster for the Eurovision Song Contest, the Cyprus Broadcasting Corporation (CyBC), announced its intention to participate in the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 on 14 August 2025, and later confirming an internal selection to select its 2026 entry. The selection of the Cypriot entrant consisted of two parts: the first involved the votes of a five-member jury panel from nine potential artists proposed by Greek record labels, and the second involved an online questionnaire posted via the broadcaster’s website between 30 October and 6 November 2025, during which the public could express their opinion on the artists and its participation in general. On 6 November 2025, CyBC announced that British-Cypriot singer Antigoni Buxton would represent Cyprus in Vienna.
At Eurovision. The Eurovision Song Contest 2026 will take place at Wiener Stadthalle in Vienna, Austria, and will consist of two semi-finals to be held on the respective dates of 12 and 14 May and the final on 16 May 2026. During the allocation draw held on 12 January 2026, Cyprus was assigned to compete in the second semi-final, performing in the latter half of the show.
For its Eurovision performance, the staging will be choreographed by Natalia Michael and Sacha Jean-Baptiste.

Lyrics “JALLA”:
I’m dancing on the table, baby
Shake my hips to tsiftetéli
And they want jalla
Follow me into the music
Let’s dance the night away
I wanna play with the rhythm
Moving left, right and koúna to kormí sou
Shake your shoulders, hips too
Ticka – tacka, one, two
Let your body move
Hear the beat of the drum, got you feeling alive
Melody of the song, got you hypnotised
Getting lost in the rhythm, but it’s never enough
Might just have you falling in love
Oh, they want
Jalla, jalla, they want jalla (jalla, jalla)
Jalla, jalla, they want jalla (jalla, jalla)
I’m dancing on the table, baby
Shake my hips to tsiftetéli
Jalla, jalla, they want jalla, jalla
Jalla, jalla, jalla
Opa, opa, éla, jalla
Opa, opa, éla, jalla
Kóri mou, kóri mou
Sastou tze fíame
Let them stare
If they watching, they got eyes for me
We don’t care
If they talking, as’tous na laloún
Enna ta poun, enna ta poun (ooh)
Jai as’tous na laloún
Enná ta poún, enná ta poun, poun, poun
Hear the beat of the drum, got you feeling alive
Melody of the song, got you hypnotized

Early life and education. Originally from Liepāja, Stūrmane showed a strong inclination towards singing from early childhood, which is why her mother decided to enroll her in a music school. She later attended the Emīls Melngailis Secondary School in her hometown, where she studied conducting, and then continued her education at the Jāzeps Mediņš Secondary School in Riga, graduating with a specialization in jazz and pop singing.
Career. After completing her musical studies, Stūrmane became known on the small screen by participating, between 2012 and 2013, in some talent shows, such as Dziedošās ģimenes and Koru kari.
In 2017, Stūrmane took part in the first edition of X Faktors, the Latvian version of The X Factor, performing at the auditions with the songs One and Only by Adele and I Have Nothing by Whitney Houston. Despite receiving the judges’ appreciation, she did not qualify for the next stages of the program.
After working for some time as an English teacher, in 2019, Stūrmane enrolled at the Danish School of Media and Journalism in Copenhagen, starting her career in marketing at the same time and collaborating over the years with various companies in the digital content sector, including the Latvian radio station Star FM.
Stūrmane’s official debut as a solo singer took place in June 2024 with the single “Pie manis tveries”, which debuted at number 9 on the Latvijas straumētāko singlu, exceeding 2 million views on TikTok and registering over a thousand uses in users’ videos. The song was later also included in the Latvian television series Nelūgtie viesi.
In February 2025, Stūrmane collaborated with Intars Busulis on the song “Vai drīkst kāpt dziļāk”, while the following month she made her debut as a presenter, alongside Mārtiņš Spuris in hosting the first edition of the GAMMA music awards.
During summer 2025, Stūrmane embarked on her first tour, with over 20 solo concerts across Latvia, which were sold out. Meanwhile, on 8 August she released the single “Dzīve mūs mētā”, which received extensive radio rotation and was selected among the 15 finalist songs of the annual Muzikālā banka award, ranking tenth in the final ranking; the song was included in her debut studio album, Vol.1 Vai dzirdi, kā brūces dzīst.
On 20 November 2025, Stūrmane was confirmed among the artists participating in the 11th edition of Supernova, the Latvian selection for the Eurovision Song Contest, with the song Ēnā. After advancing to the second semi-final, she won the final victory on 14 February 2026, thus acquiring the right to represent Latvia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 in Vienna, Austria.

Lyrics “Ēnā”:
Tik daudz silta aukstiem ļaudīm dots
Bet pie tuviem atnāc iztukšots
Citu acīm skaisti izgleznots
Bet viens piliens pārvērš tevi toņos melnbaltos
Un tā lēnām, lēnām kļūsti mēmāks
Lēni lēnām, lēnām paliec ēnā
Tu Domā “vēlāk, vēlāk, nedaudz vēlāk”
Un tā lēnām, lēnām paliec ēnā
Meitiņ klusē, veļu necilā
Šodien tētis mājās nepārnāks
Rīt ar smaidu glāzes skandinās
Slīksim kopā šaubu atvarā
Un tā lēnām, lēnām kļūsti mēmākѕ
Lēni lēnām, lēnām paliec ēnā
Tu Domā “vēlāk, vēlāk, nedaudz vēlāk”
Un tā lēnām, lēnām paliec ēnā
Lēnām, lēnām pаliec ēnā
¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦
So much warmth is given to cold people
But you come to those close to you – emptied out
In the eyes of others, you’re beautifully painted
But a single drop turns you into shades of black and white
And slowly, slowly, you grow more silent
Slowly, slowly, you remain in the shadow
You think later, later, a little bit later
And slowly, slowly, you remain in the shadow
Young lady, be quiet, don’t speak out about it
Tonight, dad won’t be coming home
Tomorrow he’ll clink glasses with a smile
We’ll drown together in a whirlpool of doubt
And slowly, slowly, you grow more silent
Slowly, slowly, you remain in the shadow
You think later, later, a little bit later
And slowly, slowly, you remain in the shadow
Slowly, slowly, you remain in the ѕhаdow

Lyrics “Før Vi Går Hjem”:
Min krop den skriger
Kan du høre den?
Jeg burde sig’ nej
Sagd’ det var sidste gang
Men du har mig
Ja du har mig
Du er så syrlig
Du smelter på min tunge
Helt ustyrlig
Natten binder
¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦
My body’s screaming
Can you hear the sound?
I should refuse it
Say it’s the last time now
But you got me
Yeah you got me
Sweet and acidic
You’re melting on my tongue
Guess I’m an addict
And I’m so freaking dumb
But you got me
Yeah you got me
Kiss me, take my heart and break it again
(But) please say that this night will nev-ever end
Let the night go up in flames till we forget who we are
Hold on to each other till we burn in the fire
Knowing that tomorrow always pulls us apart
Before we go, before we go
Before we go, ‘fore we go home
I think I’m fading
In neon lights and smoke
So won’t you take me
Into your eyes wide open
You got me
Yeah you got me
Kiss me, take my heart and break it again
(But) please say that this night will nev-ever end
Let the night go up in flames till we forget who we are
Hold on to each other till we burn in the fire

Kiss me, take my heart and break it again
Break it again
(But) please say that this night will nev-ever end
Before we go, ‘fore we go home
Kiss me, take my heart and break it again
The heart knows what it wants
Just let it decide
Let the night go up in flames till we forget who we are

Life and career.
1984–2000: Early life and discovery. Delta Lea Goodrem was born in Sydney on 9 November 1984, to Lea (née Parker) and Denis Goodrem. She has a younger brother, Trent. Goodrem appeared in an American advertisement aged seven for the former toy company Galoob, alongside fellow Australian Bec Hewitt, and began playing piano at the same age while taking up singing, dancing and acting lessons. She appeared in adverts for companies such as Optus and Nesquik, and had several minor roles in episodes of Australian television shows including Hey Dad..!, A Country Practice, and Police Rescue.
While residing in Glenhaven, she attended the Hills Grammar School in neighbouring Kenthurst, from kindergarten until Year 11. At the age of thirteen, Goodrem recorded a five-song demo CD, financed through her television work. It was sent to the Australian rules football club Sydney Swans (of which Goodrem is a supporter) and they passed it onto talent manager Glenn Wheatley. Wheatley signed Goodrem to an artist development deal with independent record label, Empire Records.
Between June 1999 and September 2000, Goodrem worked with producers Paul Higgins and Trevor Carter on thirteen tracks for an album to be called Delta. A later report on these sessions described Goodrem as “an ambitious 15-year-old keen to emulate the pop sound of the Spice Girls, Britney Spears and Mandy Moore.” Most of the tracks were written by Carter, although Goodrem co-wrote two and self-wrote the song “Love”. Goodrem did a photoshoot for the album (some of the photos have surfaced), and recorded a home-made style music video for the song “Say” which has since leaked onto the internet. Higgins took the album to Village Roadshow, which offered to market and distribute the album, but the deal was blocked by Goodrem’s parents. The album has yet to surface, though it became the subject of a lawsuit in 2004.
2001–2003: Neighbours and Innocent Eyes. At the age of 15, Goodrem signed a recording contract with Sony Music and began work on an album of pop–dance songs including the unsuccessful debut single, “I Don’t Care”, which peaked at number sixty four on the ARIA Singles Chart in November 2001. The album and proposed second single “A Year Ago Today” were pushed aside as a result, allowing Goodrem and Sony to re-evaluate her future musical direction. In 2002, Goodrem took up the role as shy schoolgirl and aspiring singer Nina Tucker in the popular television soap opera Neighbours, which helped re-launch Goodrem’s music career. The piano-based ballad “Born to Try”, co-written by Audius Mtawarira, premiered on the show and reached number one on the ARIA Singles Chart and the New Zealand singles chart, and number three in the UK. “Born to Try” was certified triple Platinum in Australia for sales of over 210,000 copies. Goodrem’s role on the show scored her a Logie for “Most Popular New Talent” at the Logie Awards of 2003. In January 2003, “Lost Without You” topped the ARIA Singles Chart and reached number four in New Zealand and the UK. it was certified double platinum for sales over 140,000 copies in Australia.
Goodrem’s largely self-penned debut studio album, Innocent Eyes, was released on 24 March 2003 in Australia and debuted at number one on the ARIA Album Charts, breaking Australian records previously held by John Farnham’s Whispering Jack (1986) by staying at number one for 29 consecutive weeks, while tying with Neil Diamond’s Hot August Night (1972) as the second-longest charting number one album with a total of 29 weeks at top spot. It was the highest-selling album in Australia of 2003 and sold 1.2 million copies in Australia, and over 4 million worldwide. The album also charted highly in the UK, peaking at number two. The album’s third single “Innocent Eyes” again reached number one on the ARIA Singles Chart and number nine in the UK. It was certified Platinum in Australia for sales over 70,000 copies.
In July, Goodrem was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma, a form of cancer.[26] This forced her to take a break from her career to undergo treatment, however singles from Innoncent Eyes continued. The album’s fourth single, “Not Me, Not I”, became her fourth consecutive number one single in Australia, overtaking the previous effort of three number-ones from Kylie Minogue’s debut studio album, Kylie (1988). It was certified Platinum for sales over 70,000 copies. In early August, Goodrem announced she would not renew her contract with Glenn Wheatley. Her mother, Lea Goodrem, replaced him as her manager. Later that month, Goodrem won seven ARIA Music Awards, including “Best Female Artist”, surpassing Natalie Imbruglia’s previous record of six awards in 1999. As she was too unwell to perform at the ceremony herself, singer Darren Hayes performed a rendition of “Lost Without You” as a tribute, bringing an overwhelmed Goodrem to tears. Her first full-length DVD Delta became the highest-selling music DVD by an Australian artist in Australia ever, with a certification of 11× platinum. The Australian-only release “Predictable” became her fifth consecutive number one on the ARIA Singles Chart in December and was certified double Platinum for sales of over 140,000 copies.
2004–2006: Mistaken Identity. After announcing in late December 2003 that she was in remission, Goodrem began work on her second studio album. Goodrem received two nominations at the Logie Awards of 2004 including a Gold Logie nomination for “Most Popular Personality on Australian Television”.
In March 2004, while Goodrem was still undergoing cancer treatment, Paul Higgins and Trevor Carter announced plans to release the album they had recorded with the then 15-year-old Goodrem in 1999 and 2000. They shopped the album around and ignited a bidding war amongst record companies. After the success of Innocent Eyes, industry experts expected that bidding for the album could attract figures anywhere between $1.5 million and $15 million. When Goodrem and her family disapproved of the album’s release, a lawsuit was filed. Goodrem’s lawyers claimed the album was made up of unfinished demo recordings which were not fit for commercial release. After much coverage in the media, the case was settled in mediation. In exchange for not releasing the album, Higgins and Carter received an unspecified payout.
In September 2004, she became the face of soft drink company Pepsi in Australia, appearing on the product, billboards, TV advertisements and performing an exclusive show for competition winners. In October Goodrem launched her own lingerie line titled “Delta by Annabella”.
Goodrem’s second studio album, Mistaken Identity, was released in Australia on 8 November 2004 and debuted at number one on the ARIA Albums chart. It was certified five times platinum for sales of 350,000 copies. The album spent 46 weeks in the top fifty. It also reached number seven in New Zealand, and peaked at number 25 in the UK. The album’s lead single, “Out of the Blue”, which was co-written and produced by Guy Chambers, was released prior to the album on 8 October 2004. “Out of the Blue” debuted at number one on the ARIA Singles Chart and number nine in the UK. This was Goodrem’s sixth straight number-one single in Australia. It was certified platinum in Australia.
The second single, “Mistaken Identity”, released as a single only in Australia, debuted at number seven and was certified Gold. “Almost Here”, a duet with Irish singer and then boyfriend Brian McFadden of Westlife, was released as the third single and reached number three in the UK and became her seventh ARIA number one, along with her first number one in Ireland. It was certified platinum in Australia. “A Little Too Late” was released only in Australia and peaked at number 13. “Be Strong” was released as the album’s fifth and final single in Australia as a digital download on 17 October 2005. At the time of release, digital downloads were not included as part of the main singles chart, therefore it was ineligible to chart. Much of the album, in particular “Extraordinary Day”, was inspired by her battle with cancer. Reflecting on that period of her life, Goodrem said “It’s weird to see pictures of that time. In some ways the fact that I was so sick was so out there, and yet I kept it really private. No-one saw me on the days I was really sick. I was 18 when I was diagnosed and I had a number one album and single in the country. And in the UK, I was number two. It was such a bipolar year”.
In March 2005, Goodrem starred in her first film role in Hating Alison Ashley, a film based on the 1984 children’s novel by Robin Klein, with Goodrem acting the title character. The film performed poorly at the box office and was not a critical success, with some critics citing Goodrem’s performance as too robotic and detached. April 2005 saw Goodrem relocate to New York to launch her career in the United States with a reworked version of “Lost Without You”. She appeared in the last two episodes of the short-lived American series North Shore in a bid to gain greater exposure. “Lost Without You” peaked at number eighteen on the Billboard Adult Contemporary chart.
In July, Goodrem embarked on her first headline concert tour of Australia, The Visualise Tour, performing to 80,000 people across ten shows. The Visualise Tour: Live in Concert was released in November and became Goodrem’s second number one DVD.
On 15 March 2006, Goodrem performed a new song, “Together We Are One”, at the Commonwealth Games opening ceremony in front of 80,000 spectators and up to 1.5 billion television viewers worldwide. The song, written specifically for the event, was released in Australia, where it peaked at number two on the ARIA Singles Chart. In June 2006, Goodrem signed to Modest! Entertainment for her worldwide management. In October 2006, Goodrem promoted in Japan with the release of an updated version of Innocent Eyes and the Japan-only single “Flawed”, which reached number one on the Japanese download chart. The album peaked at number eight on the Japanese international chart (excluding Japanese artists) and number nineteen on the official Japanese album chart (including Japanese artists). In November, Goodrem appeared with Westlife on the British reality television music competition series The X Factor to perform a duet titled “All Out of Love”, which appeared on the boy band’s seventh studio album, The Love Album. She was in Melbourne on Christmas Eve to headline the annual Carols by Candlelight.
2007–2010: Delta. Goodrem’s third studio album, the eponymous Delta, was released in Australia on 20 October 2007. Goodrem described the material as “…a lot lighter” compared to her previous album Mistaken Identity. She has also stated, “As people become more aware of your life, they can pinpoint what songs are about. On this album, I’ve tried to remove a lot of that and just write great pop songs, songs that are from my heart but there’s no baggage with them”. The album debuted at number one on the ARIA Albums Chart, making it her third number one album in her home country. and received platinum certification for shipments of 70,000 records, though sales were much lower; only 23,000 copies were sold during the first week. In December the album was certified 2× platinum.[48] It eventually was certified 3× platinum in 2008. In New Zealand, the album debuted at number twelve on the RIANZ Albums Chart.
On 10 August 2007, Goodrem was in Los Angeles to film the music video for the album’s lead single “In This Life”, which is also the opening theme for the Japanese anime television series Deltora Quest, based on the book series by fellow Australian Emily Rodda. The video premiered on 31 August on Sunrise. “In This Life” was officially released on 15 September. It debuted at number one on the Australian Singles Chart, becoming Goodrem’s eighth number-one single in Australia. It was certified platinum.
The second single, “Believe Again” was released on 10 December. It debuted and peaked at number two on the ARIA Singles Chart and was certified Gold. The third single, “You Will Only Break My Heart”, was released on 29 March 2008 and peaked at number fourteen. In response to the complaints, Apple Inc. said that it felt “confident” that the advertisement did not breach the Australian Association of National Advertisers (AANA) Advertiser Code of Ethics standards and saw no issues relating to car safety, with both individuals in the car wearing lap seat belts. The ASB said that people may not realise that vintage cars are fitted with lap seatbelts which are not clearly seen in the video. Health. On 8 July 2003, at the age of 18, Goodrem was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma, an uncommon cancer that develops in the lymphatic system.[26] She was forced to put all working commitments on hold while undertaking treatment for the disease. In a 2004 interview with The Australian Women’s Weekly, Goodrem revealed that, since 2002, she had suffered from a head-to-toe rash, fatigue, weight loss, night sweats, and a lump on her neck. “I was doing sit-ups when I felt something pop in my neck. I reached down and I felt a small lump at the base of my throat. It wasn’t sore, it wasn’t visible, but I could feel it.” As part of her treatment, Goodrem undertook chemotherapy, which resulted in the loss of her hair, and radiation therapy.
On 16 August 2020, Goodrem released a six-minute video detailing the back story behind her song “Paralyzed”. In the video, she revealed that after having her salivary gland removed, she faced serious complications that led to the paralysis of a nerve in her tongue, which left her having to re-learn to speak.
Relationships. Some time in 2002, Goodrem dated fellow Neighbours cast member Blair McDonough. In 2004, Goodrem began a nine-month relationship with Australian tennis player Mark Philippoussis. Her comeback single, “Out of the Blue”, was written about his support during her cancer battle. Later in 2004, Goodrem began dating former Westlife singer Brian McFadden after collaborating on the duet “Almost Here”. They became engaged, but ended their relationship in April 2011. From May 2011 to February 2012, Goodrem dated Nick Jonas of the Jonas Brothers.
Goodrem has been in a relationship with fellow musician Matthew Copley since late 2016, and in September 2023, they announced their engagement. In June 2025, the couple married in Malta.
Legacy and artistry. Goodrem’s repertoire falls under the pop and adult contemporary styles, and heavily features the piano, which she usually plays barefoot while performing live. She is known for her soprano voice, which in a review of Delta was described as crystalline, fierce and illuminating in quality.
In 2022, Goodrem was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) in the 2022 Australia Day Honours for “significant service to the not-for-profit sector, and to the performing arts”. Goodrem was honoured with a wax figure at Madame Tussauds in Sydney’s Darling Harbour, which opened in April 2012.
Goodrem has endorsed many products such as the Wii, Sanitarium, So Good, Nesquik, Sunsilk and Pepsi. She has also released an underwear range, Delta by Anabella (Briefly 2004–2006) and a self-titled perfume in April 2017, which by June that same year had sold 30,000 bottles and made $1 million in sales. This was followed by fragrances “Dream” in 2018, “Destiny” in 2019, “Power” in 2022, “Power Intense” in 2023, Delta, Delta Night and Delta Bloom came later on.
Her debut studio album, Innocent Eyes (2003), made her one of Australia’s highest-selling female recording artists, spending 29 weeks at No. 1, selling over 1.2 million copies in Australia and another 4.5 million internationally, debuting at number 2 in the UK and breaking various records in the process.
Goodrem has a total of five number-one albums, and a further three top-five albums, nine number-one singles and 17 top-ten singles on the ARIA Singles Chart. She has sold over nine million albums globally.
Charity work. Goodrem is a long-standing supporter of various charities and foundations, serving as patron of The Kinghorn Cancer Centre, Sydney (a joint venture between St Vincent’s Hospital and the Garvan Institute of Medical Research) and an ambassador for Starlight Children’s Foundation, Make-A-Wish Foundation and Sony Foundation Australia.
In May 2005, Goodrem helped launch “Teen Info on Cancer”, a UK website aimed at supporting young teenage sufferers. In November 2005, Goodrem became an ambassador for Research Australia’s “Thank You Day”, which honours the country’s health and medical researchers and received a Thank You Day Celebrity Advocacy Award “in recognition of her efforts in raising funds and awareness for Australian medical research and charities”.
In 2007 Goodrem was the face of Alternative Hair, in aid of cancer charity Leukaemia Research. Goodrem is also a member of RADD (Recording Artists, Actors And Athletes Against Drink Driving), a group of celebrities raising awareness of the risks of drunk driving. In 2011, Goodrem became an ambassador for The Kinghorn Cancer Centre, Sydney.
On 27 October 2017, she was featured on a cover of the Beatles’ “With a Little Help from My Friends”, to raise money for the Sony Foundation’s project Friends4Youth.
In 2020, Goodrem released a charity single titled “Let It Rain”, and also performed as part of three major charity concerts, Fire Fight Australia to raise funds for the 2019–2020 Australia bushfire crisis, as well as One World: Together at Home and Music from the Home Front to raise money in support of the COVID-19 pandemic. In October of the same year, Goodrem participated in the 20th year of Ralph Lauren’s Pink Pony campaign to raise money for cancer care and research. In the same month, Goodrem partnered with Remembering Wildlife to help raise funds for cheetah conservation efforts.
In June 2020, Goodrem launched the Delta Goodrem Foundation in partnership with St. Vincent’s Hospital and The Kinghorn Cancer Centre. The foundation aims to raise funds for the acceleration of innovative blood cancer research. In July 2022, the Delta Goodrem Foundation partnered with Revlon in donating portions of lipstick sales to cancer charity Look Good Feel Better.

Delta Goodrem discography: Australian singer-songwriter Delta Goodrem has released seven studio albums, one extended play, four video albums, and forty-four singles and an additional four as a featured artist. Goodrem signed a recording contract with Sony Music Entertainment in 1999 and, since then, has achieved five number one albums and nine number one songs in Australia.
Goodrem debuted in 2001 with a teen pop single titled “I Don’t Care” that was not commercially successful. Her 2003 debut album Innocent Eyes revamped her musical style as piano-based ballad pop, and was a multi-platinum seller in Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. Her successful singles were “Born to Try”, “Lost Without You”, “Innocent Eyes”, “Not Me, Not I” and “Predictable”. The album sold 1.2 million copies in Australia, and over 4 million worldwide.
Its successor, Mistaken Identity, was created during Goodrem’s battle with Hodgkin’s lymphoma, a form of cancer. While the album was unable to parallel the commercial success of Innocent Eyes, it did enter the ARIA charts at number one, and gained multi-platinum status. It featured successful top-ten singles “Out of the Blue”, “Mistaken Identity” and “Almost Here”. Goodrem’s third album Delta was released in October 2007. The album debuted at number one in Australia, making it her third consecutive chart-topping album there. It also achieved multi-platinum status in Australia. The singles included “In This Life” and “Believe Again”, both of which achieved platinum status in Australia.
Her fourth album Child of the Universe was released in 2012. It spawned two hit singles, “Wish You Were Here” and “Sitting on Top of the World”, which were both certified platinum in Australia, the latter eventually being certified triple platinum. Standalone single “Heart Hypnotic” went gold. With the release of her fifth studio album, Wings of the Wild, which featured the multi-platinum single “Wings” and the gold single “Dear Life”, Goodrem earned her fourth number-one album. She released a loose single in 2018 called “Think About You”, which is certified gold. Her fifth number-one album came in 2021 with Bridge over Troubled Dreams, featuring Goodrem’s most recent top-forty single, “Paralyzed”.
Goodrem has sold eight million records worldwide.

Lyrics “Eclipse”:
Shadows in the moonlight
Dancing with the sun
Planets are aligning
To love as one
And it won’t be long
‘Til the morning comes
In a sky full of stars
Though our lives were apart
We’ve only just begun
One touch, one kiss
All my life for a night like this
The world stops for us
Only love exists
When we eclipse, when we eclipse
When we eclipse, when we eclipse
Call it perfect timing
I call it divine
Gravity is pulling
Your heart to mine
And it won’t be long
‘Til the morning comes
In a sky full of stars
I am right where you are
Forever’s just begun
One touch, one kiss
All my life for a night like this
The world stops for us
Only love exists
When we eclipse, when we eclipse
When we eclipse, when we eclipse
When we eclipse
We are one love
One touch, one kiss
All my life for а night like this
The world stops for us
Only love exists
When we eclipse, when we eclipse
When we eclipse, when we eclipѕe

Viktoriia Leleka (Вікторія Лелека; born 10 November 1990), known mononymously as Leléka, is a Ukrainian composer and singer based in Berlin, Germany. The founder and lead vocalist of the folk jazz band Leléka, she will represent Ukraine in the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 with the song “Ridnym”.
Leléka is a Ukrainian-German folk jazz ensemble founded in Berlin in 2016. The band is known for its unique style, combining Ukrainian folklore with modern jazz and elements of improvisation.
Early life and education. Leleka was born on 10 November 1990 in Pershotravensk, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, Ukrainian SSR (now Shakhtarske, Ukraine). She received her bachelor’s degree in performing arts/acting from the Kyiv National I. K. Karpenko-Kary Theatre, Cinema and Television University. She later studied under Céline Rudolph and earned a second bachelor’s degree in jazz vocals, as well as a master’s degree in composition at the Hochschule für Musik Carl Maria von Weber in Dresden, Germany.
Career. Leléka sang in the Berlin choir Young Voices Brandenburg and with the Big Band Flinstones in Berlin. Also in 2016, she was a prize winner at the StuVo Jazz Contest 2016 (Berlin) in the category “unusual interpretation of a jazz standard” and received a scholarship for the International Vocal Jazz Camp of the New York Voices.
In 2016, Leléka founded the folk jazz band Leléka in Berlin with Robert Wienröder, Thomas Kolarczyk and Jakob Hegner. With the group, Leléka won the Creole – Global Music Contest in 2017 and the European Young Jazz Talent Award at the Internationale Jazzwoche Burghausen in 2018; she came in second place at the Young Munich Jazz Prize in 2019. Roland Spiegel particularly praised her “voice with aura and a bright, soft sound full of captivating natural power.” Following the self-titled EP Leléka (2017), the quartet, which was also included in Ralf Dombrowski’s book 111 Reasons to Love Jazz, released their debut album Tuman in 2019 with Povel Widestrand as the new pianist. In September 2021, Leléka released their second album, Sontse u sertsi, on GLM.
In 2024, she launched the art-pop and electronic music project Donbasgrl, debuting with the single “Zbroia“, based on a poem by Lesya Ukrainka, accompanied by a music video addressing themes of depression.
In 2025, Donbasgrl was selected for the Eurosonic Noorderslag showcase festival in the Netherlands, where she performed a full set developed in collaboration with the German music producer Jakohitsdifferent. The same year, on June 26th, she released the single “Zhyva”, also produced with Jakohitsdifferent. Later that month, she headlined the Green Futures stage at the Glastonbury Festival in the United Kingdom.
On 24 November 2025, Suspilne announced that she had been longlisted for Vidbir, the Ukrainian national final for the Eurovision Song Contest 2026, as simply Leléka. After live auditions, she was shortlisted for the final of the selection, which took place on 7 February 2026. She won the competition with the song “Ridnym“, meaning she will represent Ukraine at the contest, performing in the second half of the second semi-final.
Leléka was founded by Ukrainian singer and songwriter Viktoria Leléka in the spring of 2016 in Berlin. The first line-up of the band, in addition to Leléka herself, included pianist Robert Wienröder, double bassist Thomas Kolarczyk, and drummer Jakob Hegner. Leléka won the Creole – Global Music Contest in 2017 and the European Young Jazz Talent Award at the Internationale Jazzwoche Burghausen in 2018. They came in second place at the Young Munich Jazz Prize in 2019. Following the self-titled EP Leléka (2017), the quartet, which was also included in Ralf Dombrowski’s book “111 Reasons to Love Jazz,” released their debut album Tuman in 2019 with Povel Widestrand as the new pianist.
In 2020, Leléka wrote and produced the music for the Ukrainian historical television series There will be people, which aired on the STB. Since 2021, the band has been working with the GLM label and the Musszo booking agency. In September 2021, Leléka released their second album, Sonce u Serci, which was nominated for “Band of the Year” at the Deutscher Jazzpreis the following year.

Lyrics “Nân”:
(Ta dish se nana po ju pret)
(E nana ju po ju përcjell)
(Nana në prag aty ngel në derë)
(Dy javë, dy vjet, iku kjo verë)
Zemra po dhemb
E lotin mezi po e mban
Ju tash po ikni
Do qani pak
Do harroheni
Për jetë ma t’mirë, e di
E ne na duket, shohim hijet
Në korridor ecin me vrap
Dëgjojmë zërat, hala n’oborr
E qeshun me t’madhe
Hap dritaren, e askush
Nuk asht aty
Marr t’shtroj për t’fjet
N’divana e n’tok
Baj za, askush s’përgjigjet
Ta dish se nana po ju pret
E nana ju po ju përcjell
Nana në prag aty ngel në derë
Dy javë, dy vjet, iku kjo verë
Rri e kujtoj
Kyt vend që dikur s’pat qetësi
Rrëmujë e ngrohtë
Gjithë librat n’tok
Shpejt u ba ftohtë
Shkretinë e plot
Ta dish se nana po ju pret
E nana ju po ju përcjell
Nana në prag aty ngel në derë
Dy javë, dy vjet, iku kjo verë

(Know that mother waits for you)
(She waves you down the road)
(Still standing at the doorway)
(As two weeks, two years, this summer, too, is gone)
My heart is aching
I can barely hold the tears
Now you are leaving
You will cry a little
Then forget
For a better life, I know
We still see your shadows
Running down the hall
And we hear your voices, echo softly in the yard
A great big laugh I hear
I open up the window
But no one’s there
I make the beds
On sofas and the floor
I call your name, no one answers
Know that mother waits for you
She waves you down the road
Still standing at the doorway
As two weeks, two years, this summer, too, is gone
I sit remembering this place
Once it never slept in peace
Warm messy living
Books on the floor
Suddenly it turned cold
A desert remains
Know that mother waits for you
She waves you down the road
Still standing at the doorway
As two weeks, two years, this summer, too, is gone
(Know that mother waits for you)
(She waves you down the road)
(Still standing at the doorway)
(As two weeks, two years, this summer, too, is gone)
Know that mother waits for you
She waves you down the road
Still standing at the doorway
As two weeks, two years, this summer, too, is gone
When are you coming my child?
This longing burns inѕide
But worry not
Mother will be wаiting for you

Aidan Cassar (born 17 December 1999), known mononymously as Aidan, is a Maltese singer and songwriter. He will represent Malta in the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 with the song “Bella”.
Career. In 2015, he competed in the Malta Junior Eurovision Song Contest. In 2018, he competed in the Malta Eurovision Song Contest with the song “Dai Laga”. Following reports that the song, originally described as an original composition, had used a publicly available production beat and could have potentially violated Eurovision rules, it was revamped and re-released so it wouldn’t be disqualified. The song placed fourth in the contest. Afterwards, he participated in the X Factor Malta.
His single “Naħseb Fik” (I Think of You) has been compared to “Tick Tock” by Clean Bandit and Mabel and was said to have a similar cord progression. He denied the beat and melody were plagiarised. The song was entered into the Mużika Mużika song festival in 2021, it was the first time he has written a song in Maltese and performed in Maltese. The music video won music video of the year at Lovin Malta Social Media Awards in 2021.
He entered the Malta Eurovision Song Contest in 2022 with the song “Ritmu”, placing second. The song went on to top the Maltese Radio airplay charts for three weeks, and Aidan was later invited to perform it at the London Eurovision Party. He was also the Maltese jury spokesperson at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022.
On 24 July 2022, he performed the songs “Naħseb Fik” and “Ritmu” (Rhythm) during the Isle of MTV 2022 festival in Floriana.
In 2023, he entered the Malta Eurovision Song Contest again with the song “Reġina”. He was disqualified from the contest allegedly due to social media posts about his song which were not allowed by Public Broadcasting Services (PBS). He threatened PBS with legal action but went on to perform a medley of his songs in the interval.
He later entered the Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2026 with the song “Bella” and won, which enabled him to represent Malta in the Eurovision Song Contest 2026.

Lyrics “Bella”:
Hello, my friend
Is it the end?
I don’t recall the time you said goodbye
Hello, my friend
I’m feeling blue
I gave it all, you took me by surprise
What if our worlds align again?
Right by the summer sky my friend
I hope you know it’s fun to love again
And if you’re feeling cold tonight
I’ll meet you here, now don’t be shy
Che bella
Jien hawn għadni nistenna
I’ll keep holding onto you
After all of this time, it’s you and only you
Bella
Forsi taħseb ftit fija
All the nights that you danced with me
By the sea, they’re calling me
Che bella
Bella, bella, bella…
After all this time, it is you
Ma che bella, bella, bella…
What if our worlds align again?
Right by the summer sky my friend
I hope you know it’s fun to love again
And if you’re feeling cold tonight
I’ll meet you here, now don’t be shy

“Ya Ya Ya” is a song by Norwegian singer-songwriter Jonas Lovv. It was written by himself and produced by Sondre Skaftum. It was released on 26 January 2026, and will represent Norway in the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 after winning Melodi Grand Prix 2026. The song has reached number sixteen on the Norwegian Singles Chart.
Critical reception. “Ya Ya Ya” was met with positive to mixed reviews from Norwegian music critics. Jim Ødegård Pedersen of NRK gave the song a six out of six. He applauded his “vocally outstanding” vocals and praised his live performance, calling it “intense and energetic… that really impresses”. He also highlighted the song’s driving bass line and drew stylistic comparisons to a blend of The White Stripes and Benson Boone.[2] Similarly, Ralf Lofstad of Dagbladet gave the song a five out of six pre-contest, praising his vocal delivery, noting that he “sings very strongly and reaches high notes with great confidence”. Post-MGP, he rated the track a six out of six, describing it as a “guitar-heavy rock song” that is “driving and catchy”, and commended his live vocals, calling it “simply fantastic”.
Writing for TV 2, Line Haus awarded the track a six out of six, praising Lovv’s “charming arrogance” and his natural ability to connect with the camera. She noted that the live performance successfully created a “concert feeling” that appealed to both the live audience and home viewers. Haus further remarked that the rock-influenced energy of the entry was the strongest in the competition, describing Lovv as a standout “star”.
In Nettavisen, Maria Ludvigsen and Pål Nisja-Wilhelmsen provided mixed reviews. Ludvigsen gave the track a four out of six, citing Lovv’s “raw voice” as a strength. Although she found certain parts of the song awkward, she praised its memorability and catchiness compared to the other MGP entries. Conversely, Wilhelmsen gave the song a rating of three out of six, characterising it as “generic pop-rock” an criticising its lack of momentum and perceived lack of “animal” energy.
Eurovision Song Contest 2026.
Melodi Grand Prix 2026. Melodi Grand Prix 2026 was the 64th edition of the Norwegian national final Melodi Grand Prix (MGP), which selected Norway’s entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2026. The show took place on 28 February 2026 at the Håkons Hall in Lillehammer. The competition consisted of two stages. The first stage was a radio selection titled MGP-cupen (“MGP cup”), which took place between 20 and 26 January 2026 during the NRK P1 programme Nitimen. Eight songs competed over three rounds of duels and the winning entry qualified to the second stage, which was the final, on 28 February 2026, joining the eight pre-qualified finalists. The results of MGP-cupen were determined exclusively by public online voting through NRK’s official website nrk.no.
On 19 January 2026 during a press conference at NRK’s studio 1, it was announced that Lovv would be entering Melodi Grand Prix 2026 with the song “Ya Ya Ya”. He won the competition, earning him the right to represent Norway in the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 in Vienna, Austria in May.

Lyrics “YA YA YA”:
(Ahh… ya ya ya ya)
(Ahh… ya ya ya ya)
You’ve been thinking ‘bout love
How it got you so low
Baby, I’m an animal
I got no self-control
Left it right all over you and your pretty clothes
Ay ay ay, ay ay ay
I got some broken bones
Ay ay ay, ay ay ay
I know it won’t let go, ya ya ya ya
Won’t let go, ya ya ya ya
Pretty little liar, put your makeup on, ya ya ya ya
Bang, bang, like you want it
Like you know I’m gonna love it
Bang, bang, goes that broken heart
Bleeding right all over me till I fall apart
Ay ay ay, ay ay ay
I got some broken boneѕ
Ay ay ay, ay ay ay
I know it won’t let go, ya ya ya ya
Won’t let go, ya ya ya ya
(Ahh… ya ya ya ya)
(Ya ya ya, ya ya ya)
(Ya ya ya, ya ya ya, ya…)
Go… ya ya ya ya
Won’t let go, ya ya ya ya
(Ya ya ya, ya ya ya)
(Ya ya ya, ya ya ya, yа…)
¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦
Vil ikke gi ѕlipp, ya ya ya ya
(Ya ya ya, ya ya ya)
(Ya ya ya, ya ya ya, yа…)
