Bielorussia: EuroFest, 16:00 CET Tonight: National final in Belarus

Belarus will be selecting its 2012 Eurovision representative tonight. EuroFest 2012 will feature five acts that will compete to fly the Belarussian flag in Baku next May.

The show

After trying different selection formats to pick the Belarussian entry to the Eurovision Song Contest, public broadcaster BTRC decided this year to return to the traditional EuroFest formula. The format consists of a semifinal, aired back on December 21st, and a final, to be held tonight. The 2012 Eurofest final will be around 2 hours long and many Eurovision stars are expected to attend: Alexander Rybak (Norway 2009), Ell & Nikki (Azerbaijan 2011), Lys Assia (Switzerland 1956-1958), Sakis Rouvas (Greece 2004, 2009), Lena (Germany 2010, 2011), Marija Serifovic (Serbia 2007), Sinplus (Switzerland 2012).
