L’emittente pubblica norvegese NRK ha annunciato il diciasettesimo concorrente ufficiale che parteciparà al Norsk Melodi Grand Prix 2012, Cocktail Slippers.

Tooji Kestkar, di origine iraniana, un ex-presentatore di MTV. Ha iniziato la sua carriera all’età di 16, dove divenne soprannominato “Prince of Persia” in Norvegia dopo l’atterraggio al mondo della moda.  Ha ospitato diversi programmi per MTV, come “Super Star Friday” e “Toojis Top 10″.

La sua canzone è composta e prodotta dallo stesso team dietro alla canzone di Eric Saade “Popular”.         

Tooji Kestkar parteciperà con il brano «Stay» scritta da  Tooji Keshtkar, Peter Boström, Figge Boström. È descritta come una canzone con ritmi esotici.

Tooji afferma: “Voglio creare fuochi d’artificio con la sua canzone e convincere la gente a ballare”.
