Basilea, la città ospitante della 69ª edizione dell’Eurovision Song Contest che si svolgerà presso la St. Jakobshalle a Basilea, in Svizzera, dal 13 al 17 maggio 2025, ha annunciato un programma di eventi in tutta la città.

La città di Basilea ha svelato un’anteprima quest’oggi del programma di intrattenimento a tema Eurovision Song Contest che i visitatori della città ospitante potranno aspettarsi di sperimentare a maggio.

Distribuiti in nove sedi della città, Basilea, i suoi residenti e visitatori saranno immersi negli eventi.

È stato anche annunciato che i possessori di biglietti per gli spettacoli dell’Eurovision Song Contest, Arena plus ed EuroClub potranno viaggiare gratuitamente nelle zone biglietti Northwestern Switzerland fare network (TNW), the Lörrach regional transport network (RVL) e Distribus. Il trasporto pubblico sarà esteso per funzionare in orari più tardi, mentre saranno aggiunti treni per accogliere i visitatori.

Se ti stai dirigendo a Basilea per il 69° Eurovision Song Contest, il tuo programma oltre agli spettacoli dal vivo può ora iniziare a prendere forma. La città ospitante svizzera ha annunciato un’ampia prima occhiata a ciò che sia i locali che i visitatori potranno godersi mentre Basilea si prepara ad accogliere il mondo nelle sue strade.

Anche se non sei ancora riuscito ad assicurarti un biglietto per uno spettacolo dal vivo alla St. Jakobshalle o un ingresso all’Arena Plus un evento nelle vicinanze, è improbabile che ti ritroverai senza programmi mentre sei in città. Il programma di musica, cultura e eventi correlati al concorso annunciato dalla città di Basilea lunedì 17 marzo 2025 è stato curato proprio con questo in mente, in modo che nessuno si senta mai come se si stesse perdendo qualcosa durante la settimana.

Presidente del Governo cantonale, ha promesso che ci sarà spazio per feste, musica dal vivo e balli, nonché esperienze per tutta la famiglia: “Per noi, l’Eurovision Song Contest è più di un semplice spettacolo televisivo. Ecco perché Basilea Città ha messo insieme un esteso programma di accompagnamento. Non solo i possessori di biglietti potranno vivere un’esperienza molto speciale, ma anche tutti coloro che non potranno asistere agli eventi dal vivo verrà offerto qualcosa di unico”.

Altri nomi e dettagli saranno aggiunti regolarmente da ora a maggio, ma per ora abbiamo già molto per cui iniziare a entusiasmarci in vista della settimana dell’Eurovision Song Contest.

EuroCafé & EuroClub – dal 10 al 17 maggio 2025. L’EuroClub, si trova a Messeplatz, vicino dell’EuroCafè e proprio di fronte all’Eurovision Village, aprirà ogni sera dalle 23:00 fino alle prime ore del mattino e presenterà esibizioni di artisti dell’Eurovision Song Contest di tutti gli anni. 

L’EuroCafé, nel frattempo, invita gli ospiti a godersi un inizio serata rilassato, tutti i giorni dalle 16:00. Con caffè, bevande e snack, offre un’atmosfera rilassata per fan, gente del posto e delegazioni.

La prima sera di EuroClub, sabato 10 maggio 2025, ci sarà un’imperdibile festa di apertura con DJ svizzeri alla consolle. Il programma per il resto della settimana vede salire sul palco anche alcuni artisti amati dell’Eurovision Song Contest. Previste le performance di Emmelie de Forest (vincitrice dell’Eurovision Song Contest 2013 per la Danimarca), Cesár Sampson (Austria 2018) e Jerry Heil (Ucraina 2024) sono già stati confermati come parte della scaletta estesa.

EuroClub & Café. The EuroClub is the party hotspot of the Eurovision Song Contest in Basel, located directly opposite the Eurovision Village. Here, passionate ESC fan clubs, music enthusiasts, and curious visitors gather to celebrate until the early hours of the morning and experience the unique Eurovision atmosphere.

The EuroCafé (situated right in front of the EuroClub) offers a relaxed contrast to the nightly party scene. Coffee, drinks, and light meals invite guests to linger. Its laid-back ambiance makes the EuroCafé a popular meeting point for fans, locals, and delegations. No ticket is required for entry.

Line-Up EuroClub. The program is exceptional: Former national and international ESC acts will bring authentic Eurovision vibes to life. Additionally, numerous current ESC delegations are expected, and various DJs will complement the music program with a colorful mix of “ESC hits.”

• Saturday, May, 10 2025 – Opening Party. Local DJ Party | all night long. On the opening Saturday, a spectacular Opening Party will take place, featuring local DJs from Switzerland. The audience can enjoy a diverse mix of music, ranging from open format and mash-ups to electronic sounds. Looking forward to an energetic start and a fantastic opening of the EuroClub!
• Sunday, May 11, 2025. Timebelle | 00:00 AM. Timebelle first gained international attention when they represented Switzerland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 with their hit song Apollo, making it to the second semi-final. However, their Eurovision journey began even earlier, in 2015, when they reached second place in the Swiss national final with Singing About Love. Since then, Apollo has taken the world by storm, amassing hundreds of millions of streams and views on platforms like Spotify and YouTube, solidifying Timebelle’s status as a global sensation.
• Sunday, May 11, 2025. Remo Forrer | 00:45 AM. Remo Forrer is a Swiss singer known for his soulful voice and emotional performances. He gained national recognition after winning The Voice of Switzerland in 2020 and later represented Switzerland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 with Watergun. His powerful vocals and heartfelt lyrics made a lasting impression on audiences across Europe. With a passion for music that transcends genres, Remo continues to captivate listeners and establish himself as one of Switzerland’s most promising artists.
• Sunday, May 11, 2025. Jedward | 01:30 AM. Jedward, the Irish pop duo consisting of twins John and Edward Grimes, rose to fame in 2009 through their participation in the British talent show The X Factor. In 2011, they represented Ireland at the Eurovision Song Contest in Düsseldorf with their song Lipstick, finishing in 8th place. They returned for Ireland in 2012 with Waterline, reaching 19th place in the final. Jedward gained a large fanbase thanks to their eccentric stage presence and high-energy performances. They are also well known for their appearances in numerous TV shows and their humorous image.
• Monday, May 12, 2025. Jerry Heil | 1:30 AM. Jerry Heil is a Ukrainian singer and songwriter known for her blend of pop, humor, and personal themes. In 2024, she performed alongside Alyona Alyona at the Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö, representing Ukraine with the song “Teresa & Maria.” The song was praised for its emotional depth and powerful message, making a strong social statement. Her performance was regarded as one of the highlights of the competition and earned her international recognition. Jerry Heil has established herself as one of the most innovative artists in the Ukrainian music scene.
• Tuesday, May 13, 2025. Gunvor | 00:00 AM. GUNVOR was named after her grandfather, who moved from Sweden to Bern. Her love for music was instilled in her from an early age, and at 13, she also discovered her passion for tap dancing. By 16, she became the Swiss Champion in tap dancing (solo and formation). Her vocal talent also shone through: in 1997, she won the Golden Microphone and the Golden Spotlight from Radio DRS. In 1998, she represented Switzerland at the Eurovision Song Contest in Birmingham with the song Lass ihn.

• Thursday, May 15, 2025. KEiiNO | 01:30 AM. Since their debut in 2019, KEiiNO has captivated audiences worldwide with their unique blend of electronic dance pop and traditional Sámi/Norwegian music. Their Eurovision entry, Spirit in the Sky, received the most points from the 200 million TV viewers, cementing their status as fan favorites. The trio, consisting of Alexandra Rotan, Fred Buljo, and Tom Hugo, has traveled the globe as UN ambassadors for the Year of Indigenous Languages, using their music to promote love, diversity, and acceptance wherever they go.
• Friday, May 16, 2025. Emmelie de Forest | 12:00 AM. Emmelie de Forest is a Danish singer and songwriter who won the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 in Malmö with her song “Only Teardrops.” The song, a blend of pop and folk music, secured victory with 281 points, earning Denmark its third win in the history of the competition. Emmelie, who writes her own music, is known for her clear, emotional voice and powerful stage presence. Her Eurovision success brought her international recognition and great attention. With her victory, she was able to further expand her career and released several albums.

L’EuroClub è organizzato in collaborazione con i fan club dell’Eurovision Song Contest (OGAE) e il MCH Group, e offre spazio per circa 3.000 persone. I membri dell’OGAE avevano diritto di prelazione su un certo numero di biglietti, ma la vendita dei biglietti al pubblico inizierà martedì 18 marzo 2025 alle 12:00 CET, proprio qui.

Eurovision Boulevard. L’Eurovision Boulevard va dalla stazione ferroviaria SBB alla stazione ferroviaria Badischer Bahnhof. Il Boulevard è l’arteria centrale per i visitatori del centro città e offrirà esperienze interattive, food truck, ristoranti e spettacoli.

Il Boulevard sarà decorato con bandiere dell’Eurovision Song Contest e ospiterà zone di artisti di strada dove gli artisti potranno esibirsi tra le 13:00 e le 23:00. Gli artisti locali sono stati invitati a presentare domanda per esibirsi in diverse località lungo il boulevard.

Eurovision Square – dal 10 al 17 maggio 2025. Presentato come un festival all’aperto nel cuore della città, vicino alla cattedrale e all’università, nonché a un certo punto sul Reno, dal 10 al 17 maggio 2025, Barfüsserplatz si trasformerà in Eurovision Square per la settimana che precede la finale dell’Eurovision Song Contest. L’ingresso alla piazza sarà gratuito.

50 artisti si esibiranno nella piazza come parte di un festival all’aperto, con ogni giorno caratterizzato da un tema musicale diverso. Tra gli artisti che si esibiranno ci sarà Anna Rossinelli che ha rappresentato la Svizzera all’Eurovision Song Contest 2011.

Ogni giorno ha un tema musicale diverso, e finora questi includono: Pop & Soul & Global Day (Superar Suisse Choir & Orchestra, chimera Paul, Hæsin, NAVENI, Jasmin Albash, BKB, Schwellheim, Nicole Bernegger, Äl Jawala); Jazz Day (in collaborazione con Em Bebby sy Jazz, il festival jazz di lunga data di Basilea; Sugar Foot Stompers Improvisante, Chor der Nationen, Pat’s Big Band, Brainchild, James Brown Tribute Show); Funk & Brass Day (Juicy Lemon Club, Betina Quest, Café da Manhã, BKB, Streetbandits, Brass Department); Classical & Crossover Day (dove la Basel Symphony Orchestra presenterà suoni classici e cross-genre, tra gli altri; BKB, Quelle SURprise, Surprise Strassenchor, ESC-Projektorchester MVBB, infonieorchester Basel, Neuhaus); Pop & Karaoke Day (Songwriting Workshops: performance of the classes, WILLMAN, Anouchka Gwen, Les Touristes, STARMACHINE, Who is Gina?); Party Day (SOFT ENTOURAGE, DJ Taylor Cruz, The Entertainer & Akwasi Glenn, QZB); Hip-Hop Day (ci sarà un palco per rap, ritmi urbani e break dance; Trinational Breaking Battle, BKB, Zweierpasch, SKIP, Dudette, Brandhärd, WAS DAS?, MISS C-LINE); e, naturalmente, l’Eurovision Day.

Eurovision Street – Steinenvorstadt. Anche Steinenvorstadt, che si trova appena fuori dall’Eurovision Boulevard, verrà trasformata per il concorso. Saranno allestite aree per musicisti e posti a sedere per i visitatori che vorranno mangiare un boccone e assistere alle esibizioni.

Eurovision Village. L’Eurovision Village si troverà nella Hall 1 del Basel Exhibition Center e sarà aperto tutti i giorni da mezzogiorno.

Il Village potrà ospitare fino a 12.000 visitatori, sarà aperto tutti i giorni dalle 12.00 CET e comprenderà tre aree: una grande area per le feste con il palco principale, un’area dedicata al catering con un palco più piccolo e la zona sponsor con esperienze interattive.

Sono stati confermati che si recheranno all’Eurovision Village alcuni ex partecipanti svizzeri all’Eurovision Song Contest per esibirsi per i fan: Anna Rossinelli (2011), Sinplus (2012), Timebelle (2017), Luca Hänni (2019) e Remo Forrer (2023). Inoltre, si esibiranno artisti internazionali tra cui la vincitrice dell’Eurovision Song Contest 2014 Conchita Wurst e icone della musica dance degli anni ’90, Rednex, SNAP!, Twenty 4 Seven. Il programma sarà completato da ABBA Gold – The Concert Show, cori locali, gruppi musicali e DJ. E naturalmente, molti cantanti che prenderanno parte alla 69ª edizioe dell’Eurovision Song Contest saliranno sul palco, quando avranno una pausa dalle prove.

Tanja Dankner, Odette Hella’Grand e Joël von Mutzenbecher ospiteranno le esibizioni all’Eurovision Village.

Negli ultimi tempi, l’Eurovision Village è diventato una destinazione diurna e un punto di incontro per tutti i fan dell’Eurovision Song Contest che visitano la città ospitante anno dopo anno.

La Svizzera si è guadagnata l’onore di ospitare l’Eurovision Song Contest 2025 dopo che Nemo ha trionfato al concorso del 2024 con la sua canzone “The Code”. Il brano ha ottenuto un impressionante punteggio di 591 punti, con 365 dalla giuria e 226 dal televoto, assicurando alla Svizzera la prima vittoria dal 1988.

La 69ª edizione dell”Eurovision Song Contest 2025 si svolgerà a Basilea, in Svizzera, con le semifinali in programma il 13 e 15 maggio 2025, seguite dalla finale il 17 maggio 2025.

Quest’anno, la competizione si terrà alla St. Jakobshalle, un’arena che può ospitare fino a 12,400 spettatori dal vivo. Oltre agli spettacoli dal vivo, i fan potranno immergersi negli eventi a tema Eurovision all’Eurovision Village e all’EuroClub, entrambi situati al Messe & Congress Center Basel. Queste aree ospiteranno spettacoli pubblici, incontri con i fan e streaming live dell’evento, offrendo un’atmosfera coinvolgente e festosa per i fan che potrebbero non avere biglietti per l’arena principale.

Essendo uno degli eventi più prestigiosi nel mondo della musica, l’Eurovision 2025 vedrà la partecipazione di oltre 27 paesi, ognuno dei quali cercherà di assicurarsi l’ambito titolo attraverso esibizioni memorabili e canzoni accattivanti.

Per i partecipanti, si prevede che i biglietti saranno messi in vendita entro la fine del 2024; i prezzi saranno annunciati in prossimità della data.
