Dalle 11:00 CET di oggi 31 Dicembre 2015, la escradio.com sta comunicando, con tanto di conto alla rovescia (si concluderà alle 23:45 circa, tra circa 13 ore non-stop), gli esiti del sondaggio dell’Eurovision Top 250 2015,  la lista di tutte le canzoni partecipanti a tutte le edizioni dell’Eurovision Song Contest (dal 1956 ad oggi).

Il sito 12points.tv in collaborazione con diversi altri siti web quali eurovisionireland.net, ilkar.blogspot.com. songfestivalweblog.nl, infe Poland, eurovisionbelgium.blogspot.com ed escradio.com ha stilato per l’ottavo anno consecutivo la Top ‪#‎ESC250‬ – 2015.

La votazione (10 canzoni per ogni voto) è stato aperto fino al 13 di Diciembre 2015.

L’Eurovision Top 250 è il sondaggio a cui  tutti gli appassionati dell’Eurovision Song Contest partecipano, scegliendo le canzoni preferite nella storia della manifestazione dal 1956 al 2015 (60 edizioni). Il voto valido è stato quello effettuato secondo il sistema ufficiale di voto dell’ESC (approvato nel 1975), attraverso l’assegnazione di un punteggio secondo il seguente schema: ciascun utente assegna un certo numero di punti alle 10 canzoni preferite: da 1 a 7 punti rispettivamente dalla decima alla quarta, 8 punti alla terza, 10 alla seconda e 12 alla prima. In questo modo, si è formata una classifica di tutte le canzoni partecipanti e solo le migliori 250, ossia quelle che hanno ricevuto un punteggio più alto, sono entrate in questa top 250.

I risultati sono stati trasmessi in diretta su ESCRadio.com, la radio web eurovisiva per eccellenza, che trasmette 365 giorni all’anno solamente musica dell’Eurovision o legata a questa manifestazione (per esempio, brani delle selezioni nazionali dei vari paesi in gara). Visto il gran numero di canzoni (appunto, 250), la giornata è stata lunga: la 250esima canzone è stata mandata in onda alle 11:00 di oggi quando è iniziata la trasmissione, mentre la vincitrice (ossia la prima classificata) è stata trasmessa sempre oggi , ma alle 23:45 circa.

• Non ci sono presenti canzoni delle edizioni 1956-1957, 1959-1962, 1968, 1970, 1978, 1986, 1989 e 1992 nel sondaggio
• Il brano “I Love Belarus” di Anastasiya Vinnikova (Bielorussa 2011) ha esordito nella classifica ufficiale Top #ESC250 2015 in la 76esima posizione, piazzandosi come la più alta nuova entrata di questa edizione.

“Euphoria” della svedese Loreen, che ha trionfato all’Eurovision Song Contest 2012 di Baku, ha vinto la votazione di quest’anno per la quarta volta di fila, mentre una canzoni dell’edizione  2014 dell’Eurovision Song Contest, “Rise Like a Phoenix” di Conchita Wurst, vincitrice dell’ESC 2014 si è aggiudicata il secondo posto. Alla terza posizione di quest’anno c’è invece “Grande Amore” di Il Volo, canzone al terzo posto dell’ultima edizione dell’ESC di Vienna. 

Cinque canzoni dell’ultima edizione dell’ESC 2015 hanno fatto irruzione nella Top 10 dell’ESC Top 250, tra i quali “Rhythm Inside” di Loïc Nottet, diventando così la prima volta in assoluto che una canzone belga ha raggiunto la Top 10: “Rhythm Inside” di Polina Gagarina (# 9), “Goodbye To Yesterday” di Elina Born & Stig Rästa (# 7) e “Heroes” di Måns Zelmerlöw (# 5) completano il quintetto.

Come nelle precedenti edizioni dell’ESC Top 250 le canzoni delle ultime edizione dell’Eurovision Song Contest dominano la votazione. In generale, le canzoni più vecchie dell’Eurovision, i “ESC classics”, ricevono meno voti. Questo è certamente dovuto al fatto che i giovani partecipino più attivamente a tali votazioni su Internet. Tra i classici dell’ESC spiccano  il brano vincitore all’ESC 1974, “Waterloo” degli ABBA, il brano vincitore all’ESC 1995, “Nocturne” dei Secret Garden, il brano vincitore all’ESC 1987, “Hold Me Now” di Johnny Logan e il brano vincitore all’ESC 1973, “Tu Te Reconnaîtras” di Anne-Marie David.
